Retail Design Photography

A retail design agency finishes a fit-out and then has to prove it. We photograph finished retail design as a portfolio asset, the joinery, the materials, the lighting scheme and the spatial logic, rather than as a product shot with a room behind it. We've documented builds for Salt + Pinch, Sunst Studio, Seen Studios, Your Studio, IMA.Global, CMYKRSL, Counterfeit Studio and Uncanny Valley, plus the brand-side work for Nike, Burberry, Chanel and Dior in the same spaces.

  • Shot for the designer's portfolio: materials, joinery, detail and lighting intent
  • Trading-hours discretion, or overnight access before the store opens
  • One grading standard, so a rollout across 30 cities looks like one project
  • Same-day selects, full graded set in 24 to 48 hours

— Frequently asked

Retail Design Photography — questions.

How is retail design photography different from a store shoot?

A brand shoot sells the product; a design shoot sells the build. We light for materials and spatial reading, cover the joinery, transitions and detail an awards submission needs, and shoot the space clean rather than merchandised.

Do you work directly for retail design agencies?

Yes, and we have for years. We've photographed builds for Salt + Pinch, Sunst Studio, Seen Studios, Your Studio, IMA.Global, CMYKRSL, Counterfeit Studio and Uncanny Valley, among 20+ studios. Your design, our lens.

Can you shoot a completed fit-out before the store opens?

That is usually the best window. We regularly shoot overnight or pre-opening, when the space is finished, clean and empty, then return for trading-hours coverage if the brief needs people in frame.

Do you cover rollouts across multiple cities?

Yes. Local crews in 30 cities across 14 countries are briefed centrally and graded to one house standard, so a 12-store rollout reads as one consistent set.
